This song is in the key of G.
I have divided it into 4 parts, and subdivided Part 1 and Part 3 into smaller parts to simplify the learning. The subparts differ only by their endings.
It should be quite easy to follow the video.
Please allow me to repeat myself (again): The video is meant for those who would like to pick up piano-playing quickly the karaoke style, i.e., singing the melody while playing. I use only two fingers on my right hand to further simplify playing and also so that it’s easy to see the notes that I play in the video. You don’t have to follow my fingering. Use any fingers more convenient to you.

I’ve studied classical piano for 10 years, but have absolutely no clue about jazz piano and the cords….your demonstrations would really help!!!
Could you record and post your interpretation of “As Time Goes By”? I think Lee Hom did a version for Sony Ericsson a couple of years ago…I’ve been trying to learn this song for a long time but couldn’t find a proper sheet music.

With regards to “As Time Goes By”, I will try my best. But I have to say first that I don’t play jazz either. Haha! So I am not sure if I can get that song right, but I will try.

I came across this video on youtube one day while i was searching for lee hom; and it’s really really cool !
i love that song and was finding the sheet music for it… but usually i give up learning bcz it’s always really hard (even thou i passed gr 8 piano…)
this video helps alot… but i was wondering if u have the sheet music for it? that way it would be easier for me to learn it.
