Piano Cheats

This song is a request by a reader. I must clarify that I do not know the song well and have not been able to hear the downloaded version (from Youtube) clearly, so what I have figured out may not be entirely correct. However, I hope I have managed to produce a sound-alike at least…

The song is in the key of F.

These are the “cheat chords” I played:
Part 1: Bb - F - C - Dm - Bb - F - C
Part 2: Gm7 - F - C/E (3x) - Bb
Part 3: Dm - Bb - F - C (2x)

I absolutly love this!!!! I have wanted to play this song for forever, but I can’t figure out anything by ear, and there is no sheet music!

this dosent tell me how to play all it does it shows a person playing it really fast or at least to fast to learn it clearly im not trying to be mean but i cant learn from this so please make another vid and this time tell us how to play it!!!

I love this song so much n always wanted to play it. This video could be helpfull but I wish u would play it slower and talk us through it x I’m not the best at piano but I realy want to know how to play it x so could u post another vid so I can learn it .it would be realy helpfull x please x thnx

Hi Nellsx, you can download the video to your harddisk from YouTube using some software or link you can find on Google. Then from your harddisk, you can then play the video using something like Microsoft’s Windows Media Player, on which you can adjust the playback speed to slow down the video.

I don’t remember the entire song. In fact, I did it in response to a request. After recording, I don’t go back to the song any longer. In any case, it will be too tedious for me to go back and record the ending. Sorry! Thank you for your comment.

Hi lindsay, my advice is to download the video to your computer, and then play it using something like MS Windows Media Player on which you can adjust the playback speed. That way, you can slow it down as much as you want. To download the video from YouTube, you can use Keepvid.com and other sites that provide the service. I hope this helps. Hi Rachel, I choose a sample part in the song that continues on to cover as many parts as possible without repeating (so that the illustration doesn’t become too long or huge to upload). For that reason, sometimes my video does not start with the beginning of the song. However, it should be identical to the parts that I show in the video.

Hi Hannah, if you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser, you can install a Download Helper add-on to your browser to download YouTube video. There are also many other similar add-on programs on Firefox’s list of Add-Ons. I hope this helps.
