彩虹 –周杰伦
This is another request by a YoutTube viewer.
The song is in the key of C. I have divided it into 4 parts.
Unlike many other songs, the (a) and (b) within each Part are not similar to each other at all. However, there are quite a lot of similarities in terms of progressions between different parts, such as between 1(b) and 2(a), between Part 3(a), Part (4) and later part of Part 1(a). Anyway, that’s only if this information matters at all.
These are the “cheat” chords I played…
Part 1a: C - Dm7 - C/E - Dm7 - C - E/B - Am7 - Am7/G
Part 1b: F - G - Em7 - Am7 - Dm7 - F/G - G
Part 2a: F - G - Em7 - Am7 - Dm7 - F/G - C
Part 2b: E4/B - E - Am7 - Am7/G - D4 - D/F# - G4 - G
Part 3a: C - E/B - Am7 - Am7/G - F - F/G - G - C - F/G
Part 3b: C - E/B - Am7 - Am7/G - D/F# - Dm7 - F/G - G - C - F/G
Part 4: C - E/B - Am7 - Am7/G - F - F/G - G - C - F/G

Hi ppy26, I don’t have the notes. Please try to follow the video instead.
But hey wait a minute, this isnt the real song your showing us, I want to learn the background music as well with the notes your showing in the video. Why cant you do that?
All best~TCK
Hi TCK, there are many other sites already that teach what you want to learn. I do not intend to duplicate what others are doing very well.
Thanks for your comment. Cheers!
hi could u post the melody of this song if u can? >< i love ur site!!!
Hi maakun, I don’t keep the melody of the song. Sorry. :b
Do you have the “cheat chords” for this song?
Thanks for reminding. I hv just posted the chords below the video. Please see the post again.
where i can get the music sheet then?
can u tell me?
im bussy searching fo it
I don’t know. If I bump into, I will let you know.
hi this is my first time coming here
and can i ask how do you read the chords?
like what does it mean Dm 7?
sorry if i asked a really stupid question but thanks!
Hi jaypang. That’s a good question. However, I intend to focus on giving the chords here rather than showing how to read each chord. You can look up the info quite easily on the Internet. An example is here… http://www.8notes.com/piano_chord_chart/
I hope this helps!
