I have done the illustration using 2 different keys: F# (the original key) and F (an easier key to play).
There are only 2 different progressions in the whole song. The 1st progression is repeated throughout the song except during the bridge. This is how the 1st progression goes:
I –> IIIm –> VIm –> I/5 –> IV –> V
In the key of F, this is translated into:
F –> Am –> Dm –> F/C –> Bb –> C

Hi, thanks so much for this, with a couple of weeks practice I can now play it in F#. I know this is a shortcuts site but I would realy love to know how to integrate the melody with this pattern. Would it be possible to show this or point me in the right direction ?

A way to integrate melody is to play the chords using the left hand, and the melody using your right hand. For this song, all you have to do is play exactly what you already know how to play using your right hand with your left hand instead. As for the melody, I am sure you can work it out somehow.

can you do the tutorial for Get It Right from glee? i’m lokonig for that tutorial but i haven’t found the easy one to be learnt. i found out that your way of teaching is kinda easy to be followed so yeahh, i hope you can do the tutorial for Get It Right thank you
